Highland Village Balloon Festival

Since moving to Highland Village, Texas 7 years ago from New York, this is the first opportunity that I had to attend the Annual Lion's Club Balloon Festival. On Friday evening a couple of balloons launched and then they have a Balloon Glow, which is something that I have never seen before. Several balloons are set up and then the announcer counts down so that the pilots know when to light their flames. It's a beautiful site to see them all lit up at once. The next morning I went down bright and early to get shots of the morning launch but there was too much wind and had to cancel. I will definitely be returning next year.
